Instant Disposable Email Addresses

Creating links for directories or signing-up for forums or otherwise signing-up for useless stuff on the web often involves sending a valid email address. Unless you know and trust who you’re sending your information to,  you probably don’t want to use your real email address.

Mailinator is an email service where you can send those pesky confirmation emails for verification without having to create an account. Any address at mailinator becomes valid as soon as the email address is received.

There is one caveat, however. Because you don’t need a password or an account, anyone will be able to log into the account so it is prudent to choose an email address which is not easily guessed. After a few hours all the email within the account is sent to spam Valhalla.

To sign in just type in the address you created @mailinator.com and you will be able to access your verification email.

If you want to use the account for longer than this then you had better look elsewhere. This service is purely to create temporary email addresses on the fly.
